By using SK.TN, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.
SK.TN is provided as-is, free of charge, for lawful purposes only. You may not use this service to shorten links to illegal content, malware, phishing sites, send notes containing illegal material, or any content that violates applicable laws.
This service is provided without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that shortened links or sends will remain active indefinitely.
We reserve the right to remove any shortened link or send at any time, without notice, for any reason including but not limited to abuse, legal compliance, or service maintenance.
Link shortening works entirely without client-side JavaScript — creating, editing, deleting, and managing links all function through standard HTML forms and server-side rendering. The Send feature requires JavaScript on both the sender's and recipient's end. Notes are encrypted entirely in the browser using AES-GCM before the form is submitted — the server only ever receives ciphertext, IV, and salt, and never sees the plaintext note or password. Recipients decrypt entirely in their browser using the same key derivation.
Sends expire after a maximum of 30 days and are permanently deleted at expiry. Sends marked "destroy after read" are deleted immediately after the first successful decryption. We do not retain any copies.
SK.TN does not track users. For links, we store the shortened path, destination URL, a SHA-256 hash of your vault key for ownership, and optionally a link password and expiry if set. For sends, we store only the encrypted ciphertext, IV, salt, optional name, optional expiry, and a destroy-after-read flag — never the plaintext note or password. Sends created without a vault key are completely anonymous and cannot be managed after creation.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
